6/7 Soto & Castillo – UPDATED

Geovany Soto and Welington Castillo both continued their rehab work on Thursday in Milwaukee, and after the game, Castillo was sent to Double-A Tennessee to join the team to play games. Soto may begin a rehab assignment next week.

“They’re still struggling a little on blocking,” Dale Sveum said of the two. “Everything seems to be right on schedule except pushing off to their left to block balls.”

Soto underwent arthroscopic knee surgery on his left knee May 17, while Castillo is on the disabled list with a sprained right knee, and has been sidelined since May 19.

Oh boy this is a horse***team if we ever had to say it! So sorry we have our Team and these players like Wrigley Field given to the Chicago Park District.

What are the odds both Soto and Castillo at this point in their recovery are both better hitters than Hill? What year is this? Hill is on the team…it’s like an endless loop Night Gallery episode or Groundhog Day….no matter the date, every day we tune in to watch our Cubs, Hill is still on the team. Is a Jim Hendry sighting to follow??? ARGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

I do not care if Soto stays on the DL to perpetuity. He is worthless. Draft some catchers or sign somebody who knows what “production” means.
