Aloha Folks! Gosh, I do not want this to be lost on me, in that it is still a building process but for this team to be almost a month in the season on the heels of the Cardinals is pretty amazing. I know anything can happen but am appreciative of what they are doing. Travis Wood deserves kudos again, many of us here including myself were unsure about Wood for this season and given the chance to be a part of the rotation, he has not taken it for granted! Except for that hr, 9ko’s and no bb’s! He kept the batters off and throwing first pitch strikes again. Also have to give it up for Rosscup & Motte. Now onto the hitting, well Lake was given an opportunity and he ran with it, good for him along with Addison getting another hit and Fowler leading off. I think it has been neat to see Castro “reinvigorated,” at the plate and his play in the field too, yes he had an error but hopefully the time in between them lengthens. And lastly, the idea of manufacturing runs, playing small ball. This team had 5 steals tonight, 5! Then getting the timely hits. Mahalo!
